It’s sweet to read your responses to the different posts . Tish and I really appreciate your feedbacks and many encouragements . Here is a story that I shared with Tish that I found to be encouraging I pray that it encourages your hearts as well . Love you guys

Listen to an old beautiful story of how one christian dreamed that she saw three others in prayer. As they knelt the master drew near to them . As He approached the first of the three, He bent over her in tenderness and grace with sweetet music. Leaving her, He came to the next ,but only placed His hand upon her bowed head and gave her one look of loving approval.The third woman He passed almost abruptly without stopping for a word or glance. The woman in her dream said to herself . How great He must love the first one, to the second He gave His approval , but none of the special demonstrations of love He gave the first . The third must have grieved him deeply , for he gave her no word at all and not even a passing look. I wonder what she has done and why He made so much difference between them? As she tried to account for the action of her Lord , He himself stood by her and said : “O woman ! How wrongly hast thou interpreted me. “

” The first kneeling woman needs all the weight of my tenderness and care to keep her feet in my narrow way . She need my love , thought and help every moment of the day . Without it she would fail.

” the second has a stronger faith and deeper love ,and I can trust her to trust me however things may go and whatever people do .

” The third whom I seemed not to notice and even to neglect , has faith and love of the finest quality and her I am training by quick and drastic processes for the highest and holiest service . she knows Me so intimately and trust Me so utterly that she is independent of words or looks or any outward intimation of my approval. She is not dismayed nor discouraged by any circumstances through which I arrange that she shall pass. She trusts Me when sense and reason and every finer instinct of the natural heart would rebel -because she knows that I am working in her for eternity and that what I do,though he knows not the explanation now, she will understand hereafter. I am silent in my love because I love beyond the power of words to express , or of human hearts to understand and also for your sake that you may learn to love and trust me .”

Learning to love your mother-in-law

Hey Lilies ,

I was sitting at home one day reading the book of Ruth and it came to me, I have never-ever seen a biblical example of a daughter-in-law to mother in law relationships. I have always wondered if it was possible to exist in a family where peope are not expecting cat fights , name-callings, and horrible degrading jokes between the two women. Are there any good biblical examples of such relationship ? And as wives how can we esteem, encourage, and serve our mother-in-law’s in such a way that others can see and know Christ? Let us do away with the way the worlds outlook on mother in law’s. Let us repent of the bad jokes and comments we have said about our mother’s and seek to be a blessing to them, so that, God will be honored amongst all . One biblical example of this is Ruth. Ruth made a choice to perservere and to lay down her life for her mother in law , even though her mother in law told her to go back home (peoples,gods) after Ruth’s husband died . God used this whole experience to show Ruth his lovingkindness by including her into the geneology of Christ , and by showing her that he is the one and only true God . God sovereignly used this event to bring about the Redeemer who would be the nourisher of Naomi’s soul . I love that Ruth is known to many to have an amazing agape love for her mother-in-law .So let us do away with all the childish mentality,such as: gossiping,rolling of eyes, and slandering of their character .May the Lord give us this fervency to fight through our worldy stereotypes and to look to Christ to be our example.

Ruth 4:15 “He shall be to you a restorer of life and a nourisher of your old age, for your daughter-in-law who loves you, who is more to you than seven sons, has given birth to him.” (I REALLY LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS VERSE!!! This is also a link reinfocing the same topic,using 1 Corinthians 13 )

Don’t Waste Your Womanhood

Dr. Piper exhorts Christian married and single women from the True Woman Conference of 2008. It is a must listen if you are hungering and thirsting for Righteousness and to abide in Him. As a long time single, I receive, with delight, the charge to not have wimpy theology (gotta hear his context) and to embrace my uniqueness as a “woman” as the platform upon which the attributes of my Lord can be displayed. In otherwords, there are ways or attributes of God designed specifically for the male species to display in honor and glory to Him and there are ways about Him designed specifically for the female species to display. I mean I knew that–but Piper helped me SEE THAT! Dope! There was a paradigm shift that took place internally. I just had an aha moment–an epiphany. Really opened my eyes, made me happier to be a woman( a card carrying girly girl) and more content in my singleness! There is work to do–forgetting that which so easily ensared me, I got a God to glorify! Awesome!

Dear Sisters,

Bring out your tambourines and get ready to twirl your ribbons . Put on the most lavished and the most beautiful dress that you own , because the king is coming dressed in his might ! I can’t wait to sing, dance, and to give honor to our father together . Stay awake and be on the alert! Let us continue to encourage and press on to the hope that will be revealed when Christ comes .Keep those lanterns lit(Matt 25:1-13) and let’s continue to worship him and to give glory to his name, even when our flesh says not to . Remember Philippians 3:3 , “For we are the true circumcision who worship in the spirit of God and Glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh.” I love you all.

Revelations 4:8 says, ” Holy ,Holy ,Holy ,is The Lord God, The Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come.”
